Graham Norton’s Own Shiraz has been voted the UK People’s Choice Trophy Winner in the most interestingly named category: “One man and his BBQ”!
This prize is for the 2017 vintage, currently in stores. Well done to our winemakers, Graham Norton and Rob Cameron, and to the rest of the team.
The People’s Choice Wine Awards are special because the wine is being judged in part by members of the public that enjoy wine, rather than wine experts.
“The ethos behind the PCWA is simple – giving the consumer the opportunity to vote for the wines they love means that they are at the heart of the process, rather than being disengaged from it. The terminology and categories have been made easier to understand and meaningful to the average wine drinker. This helps them make better buying decisions and helps retailers understand what their customer wants.”
