Invivo is launching a new Eurovision Song Contest wine range: Invivo X, Unity! Featuring a Prosecco D.O.C and Prosecco Rosé D.O.C, Invivo X, Unity is launching this spring and will be showcased at the hugely popular Eurovision Song Contest as its official Prosecco.

The Eurovision Song Contest is the world’s biggest live music event: its 66th contest will be staged in Turin, Italy in May this year with 40 countries participating. The event will be broadcast live across Europe and beyond and an estimated 182 million fans tuned in to watch the contest last year. Major acts participating over the years have included ABBA, Celine Dion, Julio Iglesias, Bonnie Tyler and Austria’s Conchita Wurst.

Invivo X Unity will be available in stores in Europe and beyond from April 2022. The range will be available at Conad as the exclusive retailer in North West Italy, including in Turin where this year’s contest is being held. European stockists include Systembolaget in Sweden, Vinmonopolet in Norway, Alko in Finland along with other retailers, and Domaine Boyar in Bulgaria. More online shopping options for Europe will be announced soon, and Unity will also be available in the UK, Cyprus, Israel, Iceland and New Zealand this year, with more to be confirmed.

The partnership between Invivo and the Eurovision Song Contest has been in development for months, is a long-term arrangement and has been designed to cater to the millions of Eurovision fans seeking an all-inclusive beverage range on everyday occasions and at gatherings all-year-round.

Invivo’s Cofounder Tim Lightbourne sees huge potential for the partnership: “Eurovision is iconic and we’re delighted to be working with the like-minded team – what better platform to launch Unity than with Eurovision’s millions of fans across Europe. Rob (Invivo’s other cofounder) and I attended the Eurovision finals a few years ago and were impressed by the passion and dedication from fans, and all the glamour and diversity from the countries’ contestants!”

Tim adds, “A philanthropic approach is also important to us at Invivo and there is an ongoing charitable element to Unity wines, that supports communities that are important to Invivo and the Eurovision audience. This year we will be donating a portion of Unity proceeds to the Red Cross.”

Invivo is well-versed in creating quality Prosecco, working with Italian producers to make the number one selling Prosecco Frizzante in Ireland, and the number one selling Prosecco Rosé in New Zealand, selling over 1 million bottles annually.

Unity will be served throughout the semi-finals and finals of the Eurovision Song Contest, enjoyed by hundreds of contestants and their teams, and by the winners of the contest. Invivo will also be sponsoring Eurovision Song Contest fan clubs and parties throughout May.

Martin Österdahl, Executive Supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest comments “We are pleased to be creating the first official Prosecco of the Eurovision Song Contest with Invivo and it couldn’t be a better time as we host the world’s largest live music event in the home of Prosecco, Italy. We’ve never needed more Unity and now both our fans around Europe and contestants backstage can raise a glass and celebrate one of the most important values of the Eurovision Song Contest.”
