Last week we took the global wine scene by storm with Sarah Jessica Parker, celebrating the global release of our award-winning Invivo X, SJP Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, New Zealand.
We were pretty blown away by the frenzy that ensued, with international press such as the Today Show, Good Morning NY, Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, UK Sunday Telegraph, Daily Mail and the Evening Standard covering the launch; not to mention TVNZ Breakfast, Newstalk ZB and the NZ Herald! Fans were equally delighted by the news with thousands queuing for blocks along Madison Avenue and literally stopping traffic in the hopes they’d be amongst some of the first in the world to purchase a signed bottle from Sarah Jessica herself. Sarah Jessica, Rob and Tim hosted a launch event for one hundred VIPs at Manhattan’s The Garden Bar that drew a roll call of A-list movers and shakers. TV talk show host Andy Cohen, Designer Prabal Gurung, Stylist to the stars Serge Normant and Actor and supportive husband Mathew Broderick were all there. Several patriotic Kiwis also came to celebrate, including NZ Trade Commissioner Hannah Lee-Darboe, ex NBA player Sean Marks and Director of ‘Chasing Great’ Michelle Walshe.
Each of the hundred special guests were also treated to a Kiwi themed goody bag that included a bottle of Invivo X, SJP Sauvignon Blanc, Whittaker’s chocolate and NZ jewellery designed by Kelly Norris of Lindi Kingi.
