INVIVO ANNOUNCES NIGEL BARKER AS UNITED STATES “GLAMBASSADOR”

June. 19, 2017 — They may be the brains behind Invivo Wines, but Tim Lightbourne and Rob Cameron are (ever-so slightly) lacking in the looks department. Fortunately, in true Invivo style the boys have devised an innovative solution to ensure their wine label has some beauty behind it: Nigel Barker, former model, judge and photographer on America’s Next Top Model is now their US Glambassador.
It all began five years ago when Nigel was in New Zealand shooting America’s Next Top Model and he was introduced to Invivo’s Pinot Noir after a day on set. He immediately fell in love with the blend and additionally became friends with the founders Tim and Rob. At that time, they began secretly “smuggling” Nigel’s favorite Pinot Noir along with their Sauvignon Blanc to the US so he could enjoy them whenever he wanted – it was not available in the US until this past April and was often returned to New Zealand after being stopped at customs. But they managed to get wine to him for many years to enjoy while they prepared for their expansion.
“Every once in a while you meet someone you want to stay in touch with and occasionally that relationship becomes extra special. That is basically what happened between Invivo and me, it was love at first sip,” says Nigel Barker. “After several years of secret admiration and clandestine deliveries, I can finally share these fabulous wines with everyone. Although I am still not sure how good I will be at sharing, but with something this good it’s a sin to keep it all for yourself!” Nigel Barker
