We had a fantastic day celebrating the New Zealand launch of Graham Norton’s Own Irish Dry and Pink GiNs this week.

Our winemaker Rob Cameron, along with long-time good friend of Invivo’s Colin Mathura-Jeffree,  hosted a fun tasting and cocktail masterclass at Hopper’s Garden Bar in Ponsonby. Our guests had a go at making their own GN GiN cocktail and we thoroughly enjoyed celebrating with everyone. Graham was with us in spirit(s) and made an appearance via a film we shot in West Cork earlier this year while blending the PiNk GiN – watch it here (second video on the page).

You can buy your own GN GiN at all good liquor stores nationwide.

The GiNs launched earlier in the year in the UK and Ireland and have been fantastically received by the public, press, trade and the spirits competitions. So far, the GiNs have been awarded:

Pink GiN:
Gold Medal and TROPHY: 2019 Women’s Wine & Spirits Awards
Double Gold Medal: 2019 China Wine and Spirits Awards
Silver Medal: 2019 Gin Masters

Irish GiN:
Gold Medal: 2019 Gin Masters
Gold Medal: 2019 China Wine and Spirit Awards
Gold: 2019 Women’s Wine & Spirits Awards
The London Dry Style has also been rated 92/100 by Martin Moran Sunday Times, Ireland with this note: “Made from 12 botanicals with no element too dominant, this is a complex mixture of juniper, spice, herbs and citrus.”

If you are in Auckland, head to Hoppers during October to try our two limited-edition Graham Norton GiN cocktails and  remember to post a pic, tag us and use the hashtags #GNGiN #LetTheCelebrationsBeGin.

Check out our GiN page for more information on the story behind creating a GiN with Graham Norton, along with the botanicals used and a couple of cocktail suggestions from the man himself.

Cheers!
